I hope everyone enjoyed the All-Star Game and the small break in the action. The Home Run derby and subsequent All-Star Game were certainly top-notch on the entertainment spectrum. Let's get back to business shall we?

I've got only one pick today.

NY Mets vs. Cincinnati Reds @ 7:10 Est.

I'm taking the Mets straight up in this one. They were super hot going into the break and Johan is throwing tonight. I expect the good baseball to continue for the Mets with their Ace on the mound. The Reds are decent at home and Cueto can come out and throw a good game but he's only won two out of his last six games and he isn't getting a lot of run support. That being said, it's hard to take the Mets and the points since they're the visiting team.
