Greetings,
Big game tonight. Cowboys vs. Packers . It should be a dandy. I like the Cowboys -3 and the over of 51.
If anyone saw the Monday night game last week, it shouldn't be too hard to imagine the game going over the 51 since both offenses look pretty dad-gum good. I'm going to give the Cowboys the edge since the spread is only 3 and they look like they're jelling pretty good on offense. Romo and T.O. are torching secondaries. Greenbay looks like they're going to be pretty good but remember that this is Rodgers third career start and he hasn't played a team of Dallas's caliber yet.
That is all. Good Luck dudes.

Now for the NFL I'll give you my pool picks. I'll take the Bengals, Jaguars, Chiefs, Saints, Packers, Colts, Bears, Giants, Seahawks, Bucs, Jets, Cardinals, Chargers, Steelers, Cowboys, Ravens. Mix and match your favorite 5 teams for a parlay and make it rain. Hope you all have a great weekend. Peace

On tap for 8/8
Well it was a pretty good opening weekend! Unless of course your a Patriots fan. Let's hope Tommy B makes a quick recovery. He's definitely a class guy.
The Chef hit his two leg parlay yesterday. The Saints dispatched the Bucs by 4....and the Cowboys took it easily in Cleveland.
I'm going to go with the Vikings +2 and the Broncos -3 for tonight's double header.

KP for 9/4
Greetings!
Short and Sweet! We can finally take refuge in another season of Pro Pigskin. I think tonight's opening game is going to see the Giants take care of the Skins by the 4.5. I also think we'll see the score over the 41.
This weekend: I see the Saints taking care of the Bucs by the 3.5. Shockey and the offense is going to make them tough this year. The Cowboys should also take care of the Browns by the 6. Cleveland is too banged up. Braylon Edwards and Derek Anderson will be in the starting lineup but I don't see them being as sharp as Romo and T.O.
That's all for now. CENTSPORTS

Wednesday September 3
Only one more day until football!! I'm gonna go with a couple easy picks for week one. I take the Giants at home over the Redskins. I think the defending champs will easily roll over the Skins. I also like Tom Brady and the Patriots at home against the Chiefs. I'm only going with home teams today, so lets keep it going with the Colts running all over the Chicago Bears. Finally I'll take the Steelers over the Texans. Good luck in all your Fantasy Leagues and Go Pack!

Are you ready for some football?!

Hola!
It's, thankfully, that time of the year again. Football. You want it. You need it. Centsports.com is the place to make a friendly wager with their money. They give 10 cents and you decide the rest.
The first Saturday the Chef likes:
Wisconsin kicking the hell out of Akron -27.5
Texas should win against Florida Atlantic, but they usually don't kick butt in the first game and Florida Atlantic is like 50th in the power index so they won't be a push-over. Take FAU the points + 24
Illinois should cover also...Missouri, trust me, won't even be in the top 25 by the end of the season. +9.5
Good luck BAB Heads!

Fantasy Quarterbacks 8/29
With six days to go until opening day you probably already have your fantasy teams in order. I had my draft last weekend. Number one pick overall. No brainer, LT. The only downside to number one pick in our league is you don't get to pick again until we come all the way back through the teams. So its 1st and 20th in our ten team league. Well by that time all the top tier running backs were gone, along with Brady, Manning, Brees, and Romo. That left me for a twentieth pick of Carson Palmer..Go Bengals! Hopefully this whole thing about his nose surgery is nothing of any seriousness.
Here are my top picks for quarterback:
1:Brady
2:P. Manning
3:Brees
4:Romo
5:Palmer
6:Anderson
7:Hasselbeck
8:Rivers
9:Rothlisberger
10:McNabb
11:Cutler
12:E. Manning

Fantasy Running Back Rankings

Just had one of my two fantasy drafts this past weekend. I think it went well but don't we always say that.
If I had to rank the top 12 RB's for the '08 campaign:
1. L.Tomlinson... no question
2. J. Addai.......... lots of touches and seems to be getting better every game
3. B. Westbrook...I'm not sure a team depends on anyone more
4. A. Peterson.....teams are going to stack the box against him...he'll be ok though
5. M. Barber......he also seems to get tougher, hungrier, and meaner every game
6. Jamal Lewis...going to get lots of touches and the distractions are behind him
7. Stephen Jackson....great back but on a poor team and his hold out didn't help
8. Ryan Grant...should improve on a really good year last year
9. Frank Gore...49ers go-to guy
10. M. Lynch....going to be pretty good
11. Larry Johnson...it's still L.J. but on a poor passing team
12. Clinton Portis...doesn't he always disappoint?
13. Ernest Graham...he'll have a nice year in T.B.
14. Thomas Jones...I think Brett will help him immensely
15. Mike Turner...he's no longer L.T.'s understudy...he's the man in Atlanta
Dude, start the season already. I NEED it.
Well with one week to go before September it looks like next month is gonna be a good one for baseball. There are several good matchups next month. Today the Red Sox are going in to Yankee stadium for their last series there. Even thought the Yanks are hot right now, I don't think they're good enough to beat the Sox. I'm taking the Red Sox. I also like the White Sox, Rays, and the Dodgers today. Good luck and see ya!

There's a Storm of good bets today!
Along with the tropical storm Fay, comes a bunch of good bets today! I'll make it short and sweet. I have to go and pick up all my crap in the yard before they becomes dangerous flying objects.
Today I like the Twins, Cardnials, Diamondbacks, Indians, Brewers, Mets, Cubs, Philles, and Dodgers at home. The Bo Sox and Marlins away. Thats an amazing 11 picks. I like to make multiple parlay bets and increase the odds and payoffs. Good Luck!
